It was, for a long time, a dilemma for Marvel, the cast, and the crew on whether ‘Black Panther’ should be revived or not. Early Life And Career Of Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o was born in Mexico on March 1st, 1983. She was born to Kenyan parents Dorothy Nyong’o and Peter Anyang Nyong’o. They shifted to Mexico due to the political unrest and the ongoing apartheid which came to an end in the 1990s. Her father Peter was a senator and a visiting faculty for Political Science at El Colegio de Mexico.
However, Lupita and her family shifted back to Kenya. In her teenage years, Nyong’o started taking a keen interest in performing arts. She starred in a stage production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ when she was 14 years old. The ‘Us’ actress completed her education in Nairobi at St. Mary’s School with a diploma in IB.
She shifted to the United States of America to pursue a bachelor’s in film studies and acting. As a student, she started working behind the scenes helping production teams of films like Salvatore Stabile’s ‘Where God Left His Shoes’, and ‘The Namesake’ by the filmmaker Mira Nair and others.
