How Many Post Credit Scenes Are In ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’?

The much anticipated ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ had its world premiere Friday night in Los Angeles, and early reviews have been overwhelmingly good. The MCU’s Phase Four comes to a conclusion with the Ryan Coogler-directed sequel, and many viewers are curious as to how the plot will continue into Phase Five. The post-credits scenes in Marvel movies these days often consist of several. The post-credits scenes in Phase 4 have been fascinating, with certain movies’ moments being considerably more important than others.

While Hercules was introduced to the MCU in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘ and ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings‘ had the titular hero meeting the Avengers, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ simply depicted Venom being sent back home before using a ‘Doctor Strange 2‘ teaser for its other scene. Here is how many post-credit scenes are there in ‘Black Panther 2‘.

How Many Post Credits Scenes Will The New Black Panther Movie Have?

Critics have confirmed that the Phase 4 conclusion of Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ contains one post-credits sequence that is “really moving,” as per CineXpress.

Marvel fans are surprised by Wakanda Forever’s single post-credits sequence given that the last five MCU movies have all had two credit scenes. Even further back, 15 of the previous 18 Marvel Studios films had multiple post-credits scenes.

How Many Post-Credits Scenes Do Marvel Movies Generally Have?

A very remote chance exists that Disney withheld a second spoiler-filled post-credits sequence from the premiere screenings in order to prevent it from being revealed before the sequel’s November 11 global release.

In Phase 1, ‘The Avengers‘ featured two mid- or post-credits scenes, compared to five of the six films having just one. Phase 2 was equally divided among three films having a single post-credits sequence and three with two. Having a few exceptions, Phase 3 generally consisted of films with two post-credits sequences. ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ only featured one scene, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2′ had five, and Avengers: Endgame was the first MCU film without any post-credits sequences. ‘Black Widow‘ is the only film in Phase 4 so far to contain just one post-credits sequence, whereas the other five all have two.

What Can We Expect From The Post-Credits Scene In ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’?

    Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Even if Black Panther 2 strays from the norm by having only one reveal so far, Marvel Studios has established the bar for thrilling revelations in its post-credits scenes. Given the emotion that critics expressed, it may be another ode to the late Chadwick Boseman. Or it might focus on another touching scene from another part of Wakanda.

Additionally, there have been rumors that T’Challa’s son would be revealed in this narrative. Which might be a possibility of what we’ll see in the post-credits scene. However, there’s also a remote possibility that Marvel isn’t presenting everything to the reviewers. Maybe it is instead deciding to hold back a more significant surprise until the film’s full release. This is what happened with ‘The Avengers’ in the past.

Marvel may choose to go that path in order to offer something that, when shared with the whole fans, destroys the internet, especially with ‘Black Panther 2‘ closing Phase 4.  Fans will be curious to learn the solution to the mystery of whether this involves a huge event like the unveiling of Doctor Doom or something else.
