The couple started dating in May 2020, after Megan’s divorce from her decade-long husband, Brian Green. Kelly and Megan made news after they had their engagement with strange rituals.
Kelly had proposed to Megan Fox in January earlier this year. The proposal had taken her by surprise but she agreed instantly to promise a long life together. MGK presented the actress with an engagement that he himself designed. But there is something unusual about the ring that emphasizes that “love is pain“.

Megan Fox’s Engagement Ring Of Thorns
The ‘Bloody Valentine‘ singer got engaged to Megan after dating for about two years. They had met on the set of the Film, ‘Midnight in the Switchgrass‘. Kelly had proposed to Megan under the banyan tree in Puerto Rico where they had started their relationship back in 2020. The proposal was a surprise for Megan. He presented her with a ring that he had designed himself. “I know the tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love,” he shared in an Instagram post.
The engagement ring had a very unique feature – thorns. It is actually incorporated with the ring, making it hard to remove. “It’s a thoroughbred Colombian emerald, with no treatment. It was just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine. And the diamond was directly from Stephen Webster. The bands that are actually thorns…So if she tries to take it off, it hurts. Love is pain!“, Machine Gun Kelly had explained in an interview with Vogue.

Megan Fox And MGK Drink Each Other’s Blood
Megan confirmed that they also drink each other’s blood to Vanity Fair. “Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood,” Fox added, “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.” The ‘Jennifer’s Body‘ actress had gone on to explain her acquaintance with astrology, tarot cards, metaphysical meditation and practices, and how she performed rituals on the new moon and full moon.
