Maisie Williams is always in the news for some reason. Be it her performances, her interesting and distinct looks and fashion choices, or her relationship with Reuben Selby.
According to People magazine, the ‘Game of Thrones‘ actor and Selby have parted ways after dating for five years. On Thursday, she took to her Instagram stories to reveal the news.
She posted a selfie of the couple and wrote “the end of an era” alongside an emoji of a broken heart. “@reubenselby_ and I decided to end our relationship,” she wrote. “Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers … and it will continue to do so.”

They Were Together For Five Years
In the same image, the English actress continued: “This decision is something we are so grateful for so as we can protect the magic, that we can’t help but emit, whenever we put out brains together.”
Concluding the announcement, Williams requested fans to for “no further questions” and that they “must protect our children“. The last bit in the sentence was a reference to her pet dog.
Selby also shared William’s story on his Instagram along with a red heart emoji. In a different story, he wrote: “Please don’t be said for us – just appreciate the fits.” The couple mostly kept their relationship very private. In March 2019, they went public by announcing it on social media.
