“It’s just that for me, personally, as an actor, I would have a really hard time walking out of my trailer with a cape on, and a spandex suit,” he added. Wahlberg’s aversion to the superhero genre is rooted in personal preference. It has nothing to do with him hating the genre.
Additionally, he made it clear that he understands the appeal of the films and resonates with the actors who play the heroes. However, he believes that his strengths lie in other types of roles.
