Megan Fox is voicing the highly-anticipated character of Nitara the vampire in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1. NetherRealm Studios has released a new trailer to introduce their newest playable fighter.
Nitara, a vampire that hails from the gloomy, barren region of Vaeternus, is fighting in Mortal Kombat 1 to defend her vampire race. She uses her fangs, claws, and flying skills in combat.
Having grown up playing Mortal Kombat, Fox said that she can’t believe she is voicing a character in the new game.
“She comes from this weird realm, she is a type of vampire creature,” Fox says. “She’s evil but she’s also good. She’s trying to save her people. I really like her. She’s a vampire, which obviously resonates for whatever reason. It’s cool to be in the game, you know? Because I’m not really just voicing it, it’ll be like she’s kind of me.”
