Celebrity divorces in Hollywood are on the rise with one celebrity or the other confirming their split with their partners each passing day. 2023 marked several separations. While some of them were expected splits, some others left many surprised. Natalie Portman might just be another such celebrity, whose divorce is being anticipated by her fans before it is officially announced.
There has been a marital discord between Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied after reports of his infidelity. However, an interview has revealed some details that indicate a possible split between the two.

Natalie Portman Says She Is Living With Children In Paris, Does Not Mention Husband
Natalie Portman recently spoke with the Wall Street Journal and a few things that she revealed therein had sparked speculation about an official split between the couple. Published on Monday, the Wall Street Journal article says that Portman is currently residing in Paris with her two children, conspicuously avoiding any mention of her spouse Benjamin Millepied.
Moreover, the ‘Black Swan‘ actress attended the Golden Globes solo, notably with no ring on her fingers. The absence of her wedding ring during public appearances has been consistent. Portman had notably not worn it at her 11th wedding anniversary in August 2023 and several other public outings.
While the couple has not officially given any statement about the status of their relationship, the speculation of their divorce is rife especially after Millepied cheated on Portman. Earlier in mid-2023, rumors of Millepied’s alleged affair with a much younger climate activist had made headlines.

Did Benjamin Millepied Cheat On His Wife?
Photographs of 46-year-old Millepied spotted with 25-year-old activist Camille Etienne circulated on media in mid-2023. It is after this that the initial reports of their split came up. However, a source claimed last June that Portman and Millepied had not separated and were attempting to reconcile.
“They have not split and are trying to work things out,” a source told Page Six of Portman and Millepied. “Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves her and their family.” Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied got married in 2012, and share a son Aleph, and a daughter Amalia.
However, reports that came later suggested ongoing strains in their relationship. Though Portman publicly showcased her wedding ring at the French Open, a source in August 2023 claimed that the couple was “on the outs” despite efforts to work on their marriage.
