This was an announcement that left many shocked. Pedro Pascal also discussed the difficulties of working with ‘The Mandalorian’ armor. Initially, he was filming the show in a metal suit. But as the show progressed, the Chilean-American actor found his body couldn’t stand the suit anymore. He decided only to do the voice work for his bounty hunter character.
Pascal told his fellow actors at the Roundtable, “There was an extended amount of experimentation, being in the suit for a lot of it, and frankly, my body wasn’t up for the task as far as, like, the four months of it. But now we’ve figured it out, which is super cool, and amazingly, it gave me the opportunity to be able to go and do something else.” Good on him for learning to say no.
