Amber is constantly facing the wrath of the internet and now a petition on Change.org asking to remove Amber Heard from the DC sequel Aquaman 2 has surpassed its initial signature target.
After Johnny Depp was requested to leave his role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, fans began a petition to have Amber Heard removed from the Aquaman franchise. Since Warner Bros. owns both the DCEU and the Wizarding World, Depp’s followers had hoped that his ex-wife will be punished in the same way. So far it has garnered almost 4.5 million signatures and now has set the goal even higher.
Petition Against Amber Heard Keeps Getting Bigger
Public access to footage of the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard allowed viewers to draw their own judgments on the couple’s rocky relationship. The Change.org petition which has set the initial goal of 4.5 million signatures has increased the number to 6 million now. There has been a great deal of discussion online over who is at fault, leading to an increase in the number of people signing the petition against Heard. Even though the decision was made a week ago, the discussions haven’t slowed down.
After the defamation trial, it will be interesting to observe how Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s careers go. Even though he prevailed in court, Depp has just recently begun securing new film parts. Since playing Mera in Aquaman 2 and reshooting Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Heard hasn’t had much work to show for it.

Amber Heard has countersued his ex-husband, and now faces a liability of more than $10 million after the jury favored Johnny Depp in their decision.
The defamation lawsuit often brought up Amber Heard’s role as Mera in the Aquaman series. According to Johnny Depp’s crew, Heard was given the lead part because of his influence. It was also reported that she almost lost her role as Mera because of her strained relationship with her co-star, Jason Momoa. According to some sources, Amber’s role has been significantly reduced in the upcoming ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ due to fear of people boycotting the film.
