Pippa Middleton’s Daughter’s Name Has A Sweet Link With Meghan Markle’s Girl Lilibet
Pippa Middleton gave birth to her third child earlier in June. According to reports, the little girl was named Rose as the name ranked in the 61st position of baby girl names of 2020 in England. Rose, which is of Latin origin, refers to the famous flower. It’s also called June’s birth month flower.
It also has another cute link with Price Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter’s name, Lilibet, which is nicknamed Lili. It is a variation of the English flower name Lily. She is named after her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Rose will undoubtedly have lots of playtime with her cousins and Kate and Prince William’s kids – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Pippa and James recently bought a home for £15 million in a village near Bucklebury, in Berkshire. The property is just 20 minutes from Pippa’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton’s home. They reside in Bucklebury.
About Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Daughter Lilibet
Meghan Markle gave birth to her second child on June 4, 2021, two years after she gave birth to her son Archie. The name Lilibet is said to come from her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. When she was young, she couldn’t pronounce her name so she used to call herself Lilibet instead. Thus the name Lilibet was coined.
Another interesting fact is that she and her brother were born in different countries. Meghan gave birth to her son in the UK and her daughter in the U.S. Lilibet not only shares her name with her grandmother but also has the same middle name as her cousin Princess Charlotte.
Little Lilibet met the Queen for the first time when she was one at her Platinum Jubilee celebrations. She is eighth in line to be the heir to the throne.
