Williams and her daughter may not be into fairytales, but they love the real-life princess popstar, Taylor Swift. The little Williams isn’t a typical kid and adores real people rather than animated characters.
Serena Williams’ Daughter Is Into Taylor Swift, Not Princesses
Tennis champion Serena shared with Inbound that her firstborn kid isn’t the typical kid. “My daughter just turned 7. She’s not into princesses, she’s into Taylor Swift,” Williams said, adding, “I am, too.”

She also discussed the challenges of raising two girls in this “scary world”. She claimed there is a lot of “negative energy out there”. Williams said, “It’s a scary world. It’s a digital world for kids right now. I’m always on with my daughter, but we don’t allow her on certain platforms.”
Serena Williams Is Open To Parenting Tips
While discussing the challenges of raising two kids together in the online era, the Olympic Gold medalist continued, “It’s so interesting that with everything available online and the access that kids have — in a second, you never know what can come to them. “Like I said, I’m trying to think positively. We might try to take it slow with her and go a little bit slower with electronics, and just let her be a kid for as long as you can.”
Though she keeps a constant eye on her kids, she is still open to parenting tips. “Please give it to me, thank you very much!” Williams said while laughing. But any pearls of motherhood wisdom she might know? “I don’t have any [advice],” she spoke honestly. “Wake up, that’s all I do. I could barely wake up today! I feel like everybody’s a champion. You don’t have to be winning Wimbledon or a gold medal to be a champion. Being a champion is really just being there for your kids. I think that’s a huge champion.”

Serena is a good mother and takes good care of her young children. She shared that despite her hectic schedule at times, she prepares meals for them and they eat together which makes her feel like a champion mom.
