Though their relationship was frowned upon because of the massive age difference, they continued to be together against all odds.

Henry Cavill And Tara King’s Controversial Relationship
Henry Cavill came under fire when he started dating Tara King, a teenage girl, while he was 32 back in 2015. Before King, Cavill dated a fair share of highly successful and famous women including ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ star Kaley Cuoco. However, this particular relationship put him under heavily negative spotlight for the age difference between him and King.
Henry and Tara’s story began after Cavill split up with Gina Carano. The ex-couple first met in the London nightclub Mahiki in 2015.
Though the relationship was heavily scrutinized, the couple held their ground. As per Cavill, Tara was an understanding partner, and “treated him like a normal person” despite him being a superstar. The couple was at the time a prime example of “Love knows no boundaries”.

Why Did Henry Cavill And Tara King Break Up?
The couple announced in 2016 that they are no longer together. Fans had began to believe that Cavill really found the right person for him, and suddenly the couple broke up. The split came off as a shock to his fans.
When he presented a reason for the break up, fans said it was a typical Hollywood excuse. “She was in too deep and he didn’t want anything too serious. He has a lot going on right now,” a source close to Cavill revealed at the time.
Sources claimed that Henry’s busy schedule was one of the major reason to drive Tara away from him. However, the source also added that “They’ll remain good friends, but it just wasn’t meant to be. No fight, just not meant to be.”
Now 39, Henry Cavill has always spoken highly of his then-girlfriend Tara King even after the break-up. “She protects me and is protective of me when I am having a hard time. She’s there when I need looking after and the world is a little too heavy. Then she will happily take that weight for me and make sure that I am OK,” Henry had said about his relationship with Tara at the time.
