It is quite awkward to think that Henry Cavill has difficulty in performing intimate scenes on screen. The reason is that such sequences need a lot of preparation and actors need to be comfortable while performing such scenes.
In some situations, actors had to sign certain contracts related to nudity where they agreed to perform it only under certain conditions. However, Cavill was trapped in such a situation where he had to apologize to his co-star.
Henry Cavill Apologized To A Co-Star While Filming An Intimate Sequence
Henry Cavill portrayed the role of Charles Brandon in the period drama series, ‘Tudors’ and it featured a lot of intimate scenes. Cavill spoke of one of the sequences where he had to film a bold scene and a girl was on top of him.
There was a moment when the girl began to rub herself all over him and things got a “bit hard.” He added: “I had to apologize profusely afterwards. It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment, and somebody gets a boner, is it? No, not acceptable.”
Cavill did not disclose anything of his co-star’s identity and this can be considered a good deed from his side as he has seemingly accepted the mistake that he did.
