Grace Van Dien Is Saying No To Several Acting Gigs
Actress and popular gamer Grace Van Dien touched several heartstrings with her one-episode role as Chrissy Cunningham in Netflix’s popular series ‘Stranger Things‘ season four.
On Tuesday, the 26-year-old revealed in her Twitch stream that she has turned down several films in the past week to focus more on gaming. “I have seen that some people are upset with me for turning down acting projects and deciding to stream more, but the fact of the matter is the last few projects I’ve worked on I didn’t have the best experiences with some of the people I had to work for,” she said.
Van Dien is a successful gamer and frequently live-streams her plays on Twitch. Apart from the Netflix series, she has appeared in several other films and television shows.

A Producer Made Some Advances Toward Her
In the same stream, Van Dien revealed that a producer made unwanted sexual advances toward her on a film’s set. “One of the last movies I did, one of the producers asked me to… like, he hired a girl that he was sleeping with and then he had her ask me to have a threesome with them,” she said.
She continued, “and then I didn’t and I cried and I was so upset. But when people are like, ‘How is streaming better for your mental health?’ That’s how. I get to stay inside my house and play video games and I don’t have my boss asking me to have sex with them.”
Van Dien said that she will focus on streaming for a while as she is more in control of her work and surroundings. She recently acted in ‘V for Vengeance‘ and ‘What Comes Around.’
