Sylvester Stallone is a name synonymous with a tough guy. He has made a name for himself from scratch and is considered one of the most popular action stars. Stallone has been a part of several successful franchises like ‘Rocky‘, ‘Rambo‘ and ‘Expendables.’
But as age is catching up to him, the 76-year-old actor is disgruntled about a lot of things. One of the people is the ‘Rocky‘ producer Irvin Winkler. Stallone recently took to Instagram to call out Irvin for producing a spin-off from a ‘Rocky‘ character he had created. He wrote that all this has been happening behind his back without permission.

Stallone wrote, “Another Heartbreaker… Just found this out…ONCE AGAIN , IRWIN WINKLER , this PATHETIC 94 year old PRODUCER and HIS MORONIC VULTURE CHILDREN, Charles And David , are once again picking clean THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me.”
He apologized to the fans and stated that he “never wanted ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites.” The ‘Rambo‘ actor also took a shot at Dolph for doing the film. “By the way, I once had nothing but respect for Dolph but he NEVER told me about what was going on behind my back with the character I created for him !!! REAL FRIENDS Are more precious than gold.”
Stallone And Irwin Have Been At Loggerheads Over Ownership
Stallone had earlier hit out at Irwin and his David Winkler, who is also a producer. He criticized David’s recently published memoir ‘The Arrangement: A Love Story’ and called it “by far the worst” book he had read. He also suggested using the book as toilet paper “if you ever run out of toilet paper.”
The action star went on to write that the “unbearable worthless dreck was written by the painfully untalented David Winkler.” He also called Irwin “the remarkably untalented and parasitical Producer of ‘Rocky’ and ‘Creed’.”
Stallone talked about the ownership dispute over the much-loved sports film franchise. He wrote: “I really would like [to] have at least a little WHAT’s LEFT of my RIGHTS back, before passing it on to ONLY YOUR CHILDREN
Sylvester added, “I believe That would be a FAIR gesture,” He said that he “wanted to leave something of ‘Rocky’ for my children.”
