As Taylor Swift concludes the Australian leg of her ‘Eras Tour’, the singer didn’t really have a smooth exit from the country as her father had a hasty incident with the paparazzi where he seemed to attack a photographer as a means of protecting his daughter.

Scott Swift Arrested For Abuse
After a mega-successful Australian tour, Taylor Swift left Australia, hiding under a big black umbrella, accompanied by her father Scott Swift, who has been accused of abuse by a photographer.
The Daily Mail claims that following her last performance, the singer and her father—known to her fans as “Papa Swift”—had been having fun on a luxurious boat named Quantum.
According to reports, the incident happened as the pop star was leaving a luxurious yacht called Quantum with her father.
As their boat arrived, Scott allegedly charged at McDonald – the photographer for clicking pictures of his daughter. McDonald spoke to Daily Mail about the incident and claimed that he had no idea that was Swift’s dad and he assumed it was a security officer.
The photographer stated, “I’ve been doing this for 23 years and I haven’t been in a situation where someone’s hit me in the chops.” According to the police, they’re investigating an “alleged assault after a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf.”
They added, “The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command. The man did not require medical treatment.”

Taylor Swift’s Representatives Speak Out On The Incident
Speaking about the incident, Swift’s reps addressed the incident and said, “Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water.”
Apart from that, fans on ‘X’ are coming to Scott’s defense as his ‘assault is being taken as a mere act of trying to protect his daughter.
