Tony replied, “I am going to try to explain to you guys. I am not saying it is going to make sense but my brother…he’s a businessman when it comes to movies.”

Tony further explained a situation that destroyed him. It was the time when Chris cast him in the film ‘Top 5‘ but never told him when the film started shooting. He later asked people on the set why he was never informed about this.
“Two months in, I get a fucking phone call that says ‘Yo, you at the wrap party? We here.’ That sh*t crushed me. I have never seen the movie Top 5,” Tony continued.
Tony Rock Had Chris Rock’s Back During The Infamous Oscars Slap Incident
The confession came as a shock for both Chris and Tony Rock’s fans as they both share a very healthy relationship from what is visible to the public. They have been close and supportive of each other.
When the infamous Chris Rock slap incident happened, Tony suggested that Chris should have whooped Smith’s butt if he had a chance.

“If you think you’re gonna walk up on this stage, this ain’t the motherfucking Oscars,” said Tony on stage. “And if you walk your ass up here, you ain’t nominated for shit but these motherfucking hands! Oh, we going to pop the rest of the year, ni**a. Every time you see me do a show, pop!”
Though he stood up for his brother at the time, it seems their sibling relationship is no different than many others’ across the world.
