Rob Lowe Says Travis Kelce Will Be “Perfect” Game Show Host
‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity’ revolves around an adult competitor’s attempt to win $100,000, by answering simple questions on a variety of subjects in front of an audience of celebrities. The third season of the show, set to come out this year, has Travis Kelce as the host and Rob Lowe couldn’t be happier about it.
Lowe, who hosts his own game show ‘The Floor’, was joined by his son John Owen who even suggested that he might go to the show. Rob said, “I love that show. I love the original version. I think he is the perfect host for it. That show is gonna be sick.”
Having won a Super Bowl, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs has secured his first television position as the host of an Amazon Prime Video spin-off of the former Fox series ‘Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?’
Instead of competing against actual primary school pupils, the new series, ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’ will pit adult participants against well-known figures from theatre, film, and sports as they answer trivia questions appropriate for sixth graders.

Travis Kelce’s Upcoming TV Projects
Travis Kelce is super excited to host his upcoming shows and has gushed over how he feels to be a part of the entertainment industry. In a statement released shortly after he was confirmed as the host, the player said he has loved game shows since he was a child and being a host of one is a great feat for him.
“I grew up loving gameshows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining,” he said.
Apart from this, Kelce also hosts his podcast ‘New Heights With Jason And Travis Kelce’ where he teams up with brother Jason Kelce and talks about football, family and their personal lives. Fans can expect to see a lot more of Kelce, especially after the burst of stardom he got after dating Taylor Swift.
