Tom Hanks has never been the one to hold back his thoughts. The actor is regarded as one of the oldest and most talented Hollywood stars. As he is busy promoting his latest film ‘Here’, he is also acting as a critic for movie critics.
The infamous superhero fatigue is not exempt from Tom Hanks’ candidness. Tom Hanks Holds No Bars While Slamming Movie Critics
Tom Hanks held no bars as he slammed movie critics while speaking on a podcast recently. “Let me tell you something about those cocksuckers who write about movies,” Hanks said, making O’Brien laugh.
He explained how the same critic who had dismissed his film as nothing more than a TV episode knock-off later praised it as a cult classic—20 years later. “All you need is 20 years between now and then, and it ends up speaking somewhere,” he added.

During a different episode on the podcast ‘Happy Sad Confused, Tom Hanks discussed the topic of the always-present debate around superhero fatigue. He knows why the genre once worked so well, but feels the audience is finally ready for new stories.
“There was a time where we would go see DC and MCU movies in order to see better versions of ourselves,” Hanks said. But after nearly two decades of superhero dominance, people are asking more pressing questions, as he noted, “The story is what? The theme is what? The point of this movie is what?”
