What Does Travis Kelce Plan To Do After Retirement?
The 34 year old Chiefs tight end gave us a peek into his retirement plans, as a source close to him spoke to PEOPLE about the athlete’s future plans after his career in football is over.
Apparently Kelce wants to step into the entertainment industry, the source revealed, “He’s really enjoyed hosting, and after he retires, he wants to lean into acting and hosting. He had a blast at SNL.” The source then added that for Kelce, “football has and will always come first.”
But the player apparently “lets loose and loves going out with his friends and traveling,” the source says. “He is super fun, very funny and outgoing. Travis is the life of the party, always. He makes you feel like the most special person in the room when you’re around him. It doesn’t matter who you are.”
Kelce himself has also talked about what he plans to do after retirement. Though he added that there is no reason for him to stop playing football, he also said, “I’ve been fortunate to do a few things outside of the sports world that I’ve been enjoying doing, like getting on camera.”
He continued, “The SNL stuff kind of opened up a new happiness and a new career path for me, but it’s funny for me to even say that at this point in my career because I think it’s so much further down the road than it is right now.”

What Are Travis Kelce’s Plans For Now?
For now, the Chiefs tight end is solely focused on his career in football and his ladylove Taylor Swift.
The KC Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins in the recent playoffs which means that the team is now heading upstate New York for a match against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in the AFC Divisional round.
A win for the Chiefs will mean that they will move on to the AFC Championship Game the next week, and if they win the AFC Championship, the Chiefs will be playing at the Super Bowl LVIII in Vegas on February 11.
With the consistency that the team has shown- thanks to the player’s efforts and maybe a dash of luck that Taylor Swift brings for her beau in every match she attends, there are high chances that the Chiefs will make it to the Super Bowl.
Besides football, Kelce is also maintaining a steady relationship with Taylor Swift as reports of their engagement have been going around for a while. It will be interesting to see what turn the relationship takes once football season is over and Swift goes back to tour.
