Britney Spears’ traumatic experiences are never-ending! The singer recently encountered an incident where her family was not involved, and she did not see that coming. Britney has accused NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s security guard of backhanding her in the face when she approached him to congratulate him. However, the Spurs player claims that he felt someone grabbing him from the back.
Victor Wembanyama became the No.1 pick in the NBA’s draft this year. The 19-year-old NBA player is all set for the summer league. As per Britney Spears’ account, she saw him at the hotel she was staying and the second time at the restaurant she was dining at in Las Vegas. So, the ‘Outrageous’ artist went to congratulate him on the achievement. But his security officer allegedly assaulted her, leading to the involvement of the police. The young NBA player has a different side to the story.
Victor Wembanyama Accuses Britney Spears Of Grabbing Him From Back
Before Britney Spears wrote an official statement on her Twitter about Thursday’s event, Victor Wembayana told his side of the story to the press in Las Vegas. The songstress has alleged his security guard slapped her when she tapped on Victor’s shoulder.
However, Wembanyama says that she grabbed him from the back. He told the reporters, “Something did happen, a little bit, when I was walking with some security from the team to some restaurant.”
Victor continued, “We were in the hall. There was a lot of people, so people were calling [at] me, obviously. There was one person who was calling me but we talked before with security.” He continued, “I didn’t see what happened because I was walking straight and didn’t stop. That person grabbed me from behind — not on my shoulder — she grabbed me from behind. I just know the security pushed her away.”
The NBA player did not realize that it was the ‘Toxic’ singer until he reached the hotel and his security person detailed the incident. He continued, “I didn’t know for a couple hours, but when I came back to the hotel … I thought it was no big deal, and then security of the Spurs told me it was Britney Spears.” The Spurs player added, “At first, I was like, ‘You’re joking,’ but yeah, it turns out it was Britney Spears. I never saw her face, and just kept walking straight.”

Sam Asghari took to his Instagram to blast the security director of Victor in his story. He wrote, “I am opposed to violence in any form, especially without justification in the defense of yourself or someone else who is unable to defend themselves.”
Sam continued, “Self-defense can be unavoidable, but the defense of any woman, especially my wife, is not debatable. I consider my reaction subdued considering what occurred, and I hope the man in question learns a lesson and changes his disregard for women.”
