Bradley Cooper met Renée Zellweger during their shoot for the movie ‘Case 39‘ back in 2006. The film received a lot of negative reviews when it was released. Bradley and Renée were a very private couple, but insiders revealed that they started dating in 2009 during the press tour of the movie.
They didn’t publicly go out that often but were seen together sometimes during their initial dating days. It was also reported that Renée Zellweger was seen checking a house in LA that was newly purchased by Bradley Cooper, which partially confirmed their relationship as well. She even skipped the 2011 Golden Globes awards to stay back with Cooper because of his father’s death.

The Hush-Hush Break-Up
Their relationship was very private and short, which only lasted for 2 years. They reportedly parted their ways in 2011. There is no particular accurate reason known for the breakup but it seems like Cooper was much involved in his Hollywood pursuits. As Zellweger was already a leading actress, Cooper was still working to make his place, which created certain barriers and differences among them and didn’t work out.
Some sources also say that Renée Zellweger wanted to settle down and focus more on her love life and kids with Cooper and Cooper wasn’t ready for that. He wanted to enjoy his life and the success he was bestowed with. A source told Us Weekly at the time, “If I had to pick any possible mistress, it would be Brad’s career. He worked really hard to get into leading man status. Renée had to take a backseat. She’s accomplished a lot of her professional goals, so Renée took some time out to be a great girlfriend and see if this is what it took to make a relationship work.”
