Sandra Bullock is one of those celebrities who is known to speak her mind. When she was shooting for the Netflix thriller film ‘Bird Box‘, the actress had warned her co-stars of behaving a certain way or cracking inappropriate jokes.
“In the end, I said, ‘I know you’re scared, but I feel safe, so you can make some jokes now“, she told them. “But if you cross the line, I will f**k you up.’” This happened right during the metoo movement.
During the movement, several women came forward and told their stories of sexual assault and other crimes that they faced from powerful men. As a result, powerful film producer Harvey Weinstein was arrested and trialed.

When the Weinstein scandal went public, Bullock spoke out against him and in support of other women. “I only heard what Harvey wanted people to hear, and that made me so fucking angry“, she said.
The ‘Speed‘ actress said that he wanted people to think that his victims actually “slept with him. They didn’t sleep with Harvey. Harvey wanted you to think that.”
Bullock was scared for the woman who came forward and filed a complaint against Harvey. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is amazing, but f**k, f**k, f**k, what if it doesn’t work? Please God, let it not swing the other way,’” she said. Harvey was recently jailed for 16 years in a rape case.
