Hugh Jackman Had A Skin Cancer Risk
Taking to his Instagram stories, actor Hugh Jackman announced that he recently underwent a biopsy as there was a cancer risk. The ‘Prisoners‘ actor said that the results came back negative.
“My Biopsies came back negative!!! Thank you all for the love. I feel it! And to the media for helping get this very important message out. Please remember to wear sunscreen with a high level of SPF (No matter the season) Love HJ,” he wrote.
Jackman had earlier stated that he underwent a checkup for iron deficiency. “I know you’ve heard me talk about my basal cell carcinomas before. I’m going to keep talking about them, if need be. And if it reminds even one person to put on sunscreen with a high SPF, then I’m happy,” he wrote.
The actor has undergone several surgeries to remove some cancerous cells from his nose. Since then, he has been vocal about taking care of one’s skin health.

Jackman Will Be Returning As Wolverine In ‘Deadpool 3’
Jackman portrayed the role of Wolverine in the ‘X-Men‘ series, which concluded with the 2017 film ‘Logan.’ The role had earned him a Guinness World Record for “longest career as a live-action Marvel character.”
Last year, it was revealed that Jackman will be portraying the mutant superhero in ‘Deadpool 3.’ This came as a surprise for his fans as the Aussie actor had retired from the role after ‘Logan.’
‘Deadpool 3‘ is scheduled to release theatrically in the United States on November 8, 2024. Both Ryan and Jackman have started preparing for their roles.
