Why Does King Charles Travel Without A Passport Or License?
King Charles, since he has become the King, he can travel anywhere without a passport or license, unlike other royal members of the royal family. This is because the documents will be issued in His Majesty’s name.
The preamble in every document will now state, “His Britannic Majesty’s Secretary of State requests and requires in the name of His Majesty all those whom it may concern to allow the bearer to pass freely without let or hindrance and to afford the bearer such assistance and protection as may be necessary.”

What Are The Other Unusual Facts About The New Monarch?
The King will have two birthdays. One at the start of winter on November 14, and also have an “official birthday” in a warmer month. The ‘official birthday’ is a public celebration that dates back to more than 250 years ago. It involves more than 1400 soldiers, 200 horses, 400 musicians, and the Royal Air Force concludes the celebration with a fly-past while the members of the Royal family watch from the balcony of Buckingham Palace in central London.
King Charles cannot vote and stand for the elections. As head of the state, he has to remain strictly neutral in any political affairs. The monarch is involved in the formal opening of parliamentary sessions. He approves legislation from parliament and holds weekly meetings with the prime minister.
