Drake is probably all ready to settle down with a commoner! After a long list of celebrity ex-partners, the rapper says he probably won’t marry someone famous and would prefer to share his life with someone from a normal background.
Talking to Bobbi Althoff in her podcast, Drake revealed why he hasn’t tied the knot yet and who his potential wife might be. Read on to know more.
Is Drake Going To Marry A Commoner?
Drake has stated that he will not marry a celebrity since they “aren’t that intriguing“.
During a guest interview on Bobbi Althoff’s ‘The Really Good Podcast’, the rapper talked openly about his romantic life, admitting he doesn’t like dating celebrities and can’t see himself finding a spouse who is popular.
When asking host Bobbi who she could imagine him marrying and she selected Beyonce, Drake said, “Ok, someone else, ’cause Beyonce’s married.”
“Pick someone else. It doesn’t have to be someone famous. I probably will end up marrying someone that’s not famous. Famous people really aren’t that, aren’t that anything. They’re not that intriguing.”
He continued and said, “It [marriage] seems like a thing of ancient times. I think I will eventually [get married]. I don’t think I can offer somebody what they’d be looking for right now. Just consistency. I think my life, my work is my priority so then I wouldn’t want to not be able to contribute as a partner. I don’t wanna get married ’cause I don’t wanna disappoint someone. And I’m not like Amish.”

Drake said “I’ve considered a lot of things in life, but right now, nothing is stopping me from making music for you, so I’ll be here for you for a while at least.” He continued and said: “I hope I can stir up some more feelings for you — maybe this year, I might get bored and make another one, who knows?”
