Jeremy Renner Is In A “Critical” Condition
The ‘Hawkeye‘ actor has had an unfortunate start to the year 2023. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Renner was injured in a snow plowing accident on January 1 at his home near the Mt. Rose Highway.
On Monday, he underwent surgery after receiving a “blunt chest trauma” and injury to his musculoskeletal system (orthopedic injuries). He was immediately flown to a local hospital via helicopter.
A representative of the actor said that he is in “critical but stable condition“. According to his publicist, Jenner was in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

His Neighbor Reportedly Saved His Life
In a statement, Renner’s rep, Sam Mast said: “Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him … They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
A report stated that one of Renner’s neighbors, a doctor, saved his life by putting a tourniquet on his leg to slow down his loss of blood. James Gunn took to Twitter to pray for the actor. “My heart is with Jeremy Renner,” Gunn wrote with hands emoji.
“My God,” actor Josh Gad also wrote. “Praying for Jeremy Renner and his family.” On New Year’s day, Mast said Renner suffered injuries “after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow.”
