What Got Miley Cyrus Banned?
Hannah Montana has been every child’s dream girl. Loved by everyone, always in the spotlight combined with all the glitter and glamour, she has made our childhood mesmerizing. The young actress, Miley Cyrus is now more into singing and songwriting. Though she has grown up from a young teenager to an adult, the artist still gets into trouble at times. Miley has been banned from the Dominican Republic back in 2014.
It is not specifically clear of the reason why she has been banned. The country did make a statement that “undertak[ing] acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law,” as a reason why the singer is banned. The assumption is that the cause for the ban can be the strap-on dress or the other wild antics she has been into in the recent past. The Vanity Fair write-up also opens up the chance for her drug usage. But the artist has never done anything illegal on stage. So there is still confusion about what really caused such a decision.

Other Countries That Banned The Singer
Miley is not the only celebrity to face a ban from other countries. There are many other artists who cannot enter or perform in some countries. And this is also not the first country to impose a restriction on Miley Cyrus. China also imposed a ban on the ‘Party In The U.S.A’ singer back in 2009.
The country stated that it had “no interest in further polluting their children’s minds with her American ignorance.” This ban came after Cyrus appeared in a photo mocking Asians. The singer in the photo was seen with her eyes pulled backward. It is seen as offensive by Asians everywhere. This is what led to the ban of the singer from China.
