Russell Brand Reveals Details Of His Marriage With Ex-Wife Katy Perry
The British comedian Russell Brand appeared on ‘Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge’ on August 6. On the show, Russell talked about the time when he was married to Katy Perry. “She’s an amazing person. It was kind of incredible to live for a moment in that eye of the cyclone-type aspect of fame,” the star said remembering his ex-wife. “Aside from my sort of feelings of affection for Katy, it’s a time that I remember has been a little bit chaotic and a bit for me… a little disconnected,” Brand explained his situation when he was married.
The actor described those years of his life as ‘chaotic’. Brand, who was in his 30s during those days, “didn’t really start making a proper living”. Brand sees some of those instances with Katy Perry as “amazing“. But at the same time, he had to spend a lot of time in the public’s eyes. “You had to live through so much that publicly,” the comedian recounted.

Russell Brand And Katy Perry’s Relationship
After a few months of dating from 2009 to 2010, Katy Perry and Russell Brand got married in 2010. Within a year there were rumours about their divorce. And by the end of 2011, they got divorced after 14 months of marriage. The couple had cited “irreconcilable differences”.
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends,” Russell had said to People during the time of the split. Russell is currently married to Laura Gallacher and is expecting their third baby. Whereas the ‘Dark Horse‘ is engaged to Orlando Bloom and they share a daughter.
