    Grimes, a Canadian singer-songwriter caused a whirlwind in Twitter after revealing an odd encounter she had with the late Queen during her high school days.

    Almost a week after the monarch’s death on September 8 at the age of 96, Grimes looked back on her odd encounter with the late Queen Elizabeth II. What was the odd encounter and why Twitter is shocked to hear about this?

    Why Grimes Was Interrogated In Her High School?

    In a series of tweets, Grimes explained that when she was a teenager, the late Queen came to visit her Vancouver hometown. “Once the queen was gna drive past my high school on a snow day, and all day the teachers threatened us no snow balls,” Grime reminisced.

    She added that when the Queen drove past it was dead silent and all the teachers were on high alert. “And just as the procession was almost past a single snowball arced from the crowd & hit her car,” the musician revealed.

    After the incident, the teachers tried to figure out who threw it and Grimes became a suspect. “Entire crowd erupted into insanity. I was wrongfully accused and had to spend many hours in interrogations, still to this day the culprit remains unknown,” Grimes tweeted. “But it was glorious.”

    Many Twitter users did not believe her story was true. Then the former girlfriend of Elon Musk, shared a screenshot of a Wikipedia article. “In 2002, Elizabeth II toured the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and the territory of Nunavut, for her Golden Jubilee,” the image read.

    Grimes added, “I’m not crazy!” However, many comments are hostile towards the singer. One user wrote, “Out of respect for the queen, stop lying on the internet until the period of mourning is over.”

    Another user tweeted, “You threw a snowball ball didn’t you?”. Grimes replied to the tweet by tweeting, “I actually did not throw it funnily enough.”
