Batman is inarguably the most popular and beloved comic character of all time. With his cool gadgets and sweet ride, Batman has been fighting crime in Gotham for ages. Fans have seen multiple iterations of Batman both in animated and live-action media.

The first images gave fans a look at Bruce Wayne with his flamboyant look and Batman rocking the classic black and grey suit. In addition to Caped Crusader, there are also some other popular DC characters such as Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Commissioner Jim Gordon and Clayface.

Harley Quinn has a quite different look than what fans have seen in multiple animated series. Clayface returns to his roots and can be seen in a classic look. He has a hat and mask, similar to what villains look like in the Wild West. It is expected that fans will not see his usual clay-based power such as shapeshifting.

Bruce Timm revealed that they wanted this show to be different from the original ‘Batman: The Animated Series’. Thus this show will be a 1940s-set period piece. Talking about the show, he said, “James and I are both really big fans of movies from that era, so we decided to really lean into that in terms of the clothes, the cars, the architecture, and the level of technology. Early on, we decided there would be no computers and no cell phones. That changed everything.”

‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ Animated Series was slated to be released on HBO Max. However, it got cancelled when WB was axing multiple projects due to cost-cutting. Thanks to Amazon, they acquired it and will be released on 1 August 2024 worldwide. All 10 episodes will be dropped on day 1 so fans can enjoy this series in one go.

Ever since Batman came to the animated world, the late great Kevin Conroy has been giving his voice to the Caped Crusader. Be it the ‘Batman: The Animated Series, ‘Justice League’ animated series or the best superhero video game series ever made, ‘Batman Arkham’, Conroy has done it all.

With just his voice, he has made fans rank him as the best Batman of all time. However, after his unfortunate passing in 2022, fans are thinking about who will voice the Dark Knight in the ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ Animated Series.

As of now, the creators have not revealed anything regarding the cast of the show. There is a tiny chance that fans might listen the Kevin Conroy’s once again. It has been already revealed that ‘Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths- Part 3’ will feature Conroy as Batman along with Mark Hamill’s Joker. This Duo will also feature in the popular game ‘Multiversus’ too.

So, it is a possibility that Kevin Conroy might have recorded for this show before passing away. Fans have to wait till creators give any update.
