Daniela Melchior Wants Ratcatcher 2 In James Gunn’s DCU
DC Universe is introducing new superheroes and characters to its cosmos. But, it ought to concentrate and give focus to previous characters as well and add something to their character development. The ‘Suicide Squad’ star, Daniela Melchior expressed that she is ready for whatever James Gunn has planned for her in the upcoming DCU.
While talking to Nestor Cine, the actress was asked about the possibility of returning to DCU, to which she replied, “I’m open to exploring another [DC] character, but I’m also open to exploring more Ratcatcher 2 background or even like her future. I’ve been saying that Ratcatcher 2 is taking a nap right now, but I can’t wait to wake her up.”
Before this, she was also asked about another Ratcatcher 2 on her Instagram. Melchior stated that she is unaware of the plans of James Gunn and DCU. An Instagram user asked “Will u be in the new DCU?” to which she replied, “Not that I’m aware.”
There are likely more chances that Gunn may bring back the suicide squad as they make a perfect team and would contribute a lot to the new narratives that he is going to introduce in the DC Universe.

What Is The Character Of Ratcatcher 2 Like?
Melchior’s character of Ratcatcher 2 made her stand out in ‘The Suicide Squad’ movie. She can summon and communicate with rats. Her father, the original Ratcatcher, gave her a wand in the movie before. It is not because of the technology or the wand but she shares a great bond with rats.
Ratcatcher 2 is different from other characters due to her skills which makes her more of a hero than a villain. Daniela Melchior did an excellent job of portraying the emotions and fans also loved her role. Hence, there are likely more chances that the character of Ratcatcher 2 may return. But there are no updates from DCU regarding her Character development.
