James Gunn Denies Stacking Up ‘Superman: Legacy’ To Attract Buyers

Ever since James Gunn has taken over the DECU, the list of tribulations doesn’t seem to end for him. The new boss of DCEU has some records to set straight about the DC development including ‘Superman: Legacy’ and a potential Justice League live-action film. The new Superman film will be the first project of renewed DC after James Gunn and Peter Safran took over. Recently Gunn confirmed that Mister Terrific, Hawkgirl, and Green Lantern/Guy Gardner will be part of the story, leaving the fans puzzled.

It was believed that the addition of these new characters was added in ‘Superman: Legacy’ under the orders of Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav only to attract potential buyers. According to a few other reports, it was stated that Gunn wanted to move on with a simple project. However, these claims were denied by Gunn over the social media platform, Threads. He wrote, “Of course not”.
