Spider-Man Vs Batman: Which Superhero Is More Intelligent?

Over the years, comic fans have been in constant debate about the popularity of Marvel and DC superheroes. It is a well-known fact that Batman is known for his intelligence, but on the other hand, Spider-Man is also known as one of Marvel’s intellectual heroes taking up the mantle after Iron Man.

Because of his eidetic memory, Batman might have the upper hand on intelligence, but there is a high possibility that Spider-Man can beat Batman when it comes to the battle of intelligence.

    What Is Batman’s IQ?

Bruce Wayne’s IQ is known to be around 192, however, according to many sources, his IQ is higher than 210+. The smartest version of Batman appears to be the DC One Milion version, with a recorded IQ of 1045. Throughout the comics, Batman has proved his intelligence as he knows his way around technology, hacking, chemistry, and business management.

Additionally, Bruce Wayne also has an eidetic memory and uses forensic pathology in his work. Similar to Tony Stark, he is a rich industrialist who can build his own weapons, suits, and gadgets. Despite being the smartest person in the room, there are many superheroes who are intellectually superior to Batman, including Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Many forget that Spider-Man is not just a friendly neighborhood hero. Throughout the comics, he has out vested many powerful villains, sacrificed his love, and lost his family. In fact, Peter Parker is one of the smartest people in the entire multiverse. This fact has been tested by Reed Richards, Marvel’s smartest man who accepted Spiderman as his intellectual equal in various instances.

Peter Parker in fact is an intellectually-gifted scientific genius who has a prodigious aptitude for the physical sciences. His IQ level is said to be around 250, which is more than DC’s Batman. Peter’s engineering expertise allows him to create innovative devices such as the Cryo-Cube 3000 and noise-reduction headphones. With a passion for science and being intellectually gifted, Peter Parker, a.k.a Spider-Man is intellectually superior to Batman.
