The ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ star Dave Bautista has a wish to join the DC Universe. And with DC being in the middle of some big changes, this might be a good time for Bautista to become a part of James Gunn’s DCU.
Bautista has also expressed his wish to portray a certain character amongst the hundreds that there are. We do know that he wanted to leave behind his image of Drax the Destroyer and work on new projects, so this might be his chance to get into one.

Dave Bautista has been wanting to play a new character for some time now. And has expressed his wish to work with DC as well. And when we say Batman’s greatest Villain you might be thinking of Joker. But Bautista wants to play Bane.
Bane has not been introduced into the DC movies properly yet. Christopher Nolan did incorporate him in his Batman series but not the South-Asian comic book version. This is a golden opportunity for DC to cast Bautista as Bane.
DC’s latest film which is set to be released soon is Angel Manuel Soto’s ‘Blue Beetle’. And it is reported that Soto had pitched an idea for a movie around Bane also. And Bautista is also interested to work with him.

Where Can We See Dave Bautista’s Bane?
If Dave Bautista becomes Bane then the best option would be with Soto’s film. But that is quite a long shot. So in case the film is not approved then we can expect to see Bane in James Gunn’s ‘The Brave and The Bold‘.
James Gunn is bringing in a new DCU with his ‘Superman: Legacy’. But he also has a Batman movie planned. And this movie is the best movie to introduce Bane. Bane could make an appearance fighting Bruce and Damien Wayne. And since Dave Bautista and James Gunn have a long history of working together in the MCU as well this would be a perfect opportunity to cast him.
