‘Disenchanted’: A Sequel To ‘Enchanted’ Happily Ever After
In ‘Enchanted‘, the simple idealistic life of Andalasia comes crashing into the real world when Giselle is banished by Prince Edward’s stepmother. A country damsel, Giselle meets with the metropolitan Robert, played by handsome Patrick Dempsey. She falls in love with the realistic man despite their opposite personalities.
As with all fairy tales, this one’s fantasy story was disrupted by the stepmother and Giselle comes under the apple curse. Giselle and Robert’s love is proved with true love’s kiss. The villain is defeated and everybody goes to their respective happily ever after.
Patrick and Giselle move to the suburbs most probably to suit the bigger family requirements. Yes! There is a new member in the Philip family. But Giselle is nervous about the change. Morgan, Robert’s daughter from his first marriage, is unsettled with everything changing. Just in the middle of adjusting to chaos, the King and Queen of Andalasia return. Giselle, listening to fantasy land stories from Nancy, yearns for a fairy tale life.
In desperation, she makes a wish from the Andalasian Wishing Wand and that’s when things go “terribly wrong”. The town of Monroeville changes into a typical musical, animals start speaking and Giselle becomes the evil stepmother. Will Giselle realize her mistake? Will she undo her spell? All will be answered in the upcoming film.
