Caitlin Clark And Connor McCaffery Celebrate Major Milestone Just Days Before WNBA Tip-Off

Caitlin Clark marked a personal milestone as she celebrated three years with boyfriend Connor McCaffery on April 24, 2026. The Indiana Fever guard shared a photo of the couple on Instagram, showing them dressed up for the occasion. She wrote, “Three years with my fav 🤍🤍 you’re the bestttt :).”

Clark and McCaffery met while attending the University of Iowa, where both were members of the basketball program. Clark emerged as a national figure in women’s college basketball, while McCaffery played six seasons for the men’s team under head coach Fran McCaffery. He appeared in 166 games and averaged 4.5 points during his collegiate career.

After college, McCaffery transitioned into coaching and player development. He served as an assistant coach with the Butler Bulldogs men’s basketball and later worked as a basketball development coordinator for the Indiana Pacers during the 2023 to 2024 season.

Caitlin Clark is entering her third WNBA season after her 2025 campaign was limited to 13 games due to a groin injury. She missed the playoffs, where Indiana was eliminated in a semifinal Game 5 by the Las Vegas Aces, who also went on to win the championship.

During training camp, Clark described the experience as “very isolating” and said it helped her learn how to be “the best teammate you can be.”

Indiana has made multiple roster moves ahead of the new season. Aliyah Boston signed a four-year, $6.3 million contract extension that is set to make her the highest-paid player in league history. The team also re-signed Sophie Cunningham to a one-year deal and added Monique Billings and Tyasha Harris in free agency.
