‘The Simpsons’ is trending once again after claims that they predicted Instagram Threads a long time ago. The show was in the spotlight earlier after a clip of the episode went viral, saying that it possibly predicted the Titan submersible incident.
‘The Simpsons’ aired for 34 seasons and turned out to be one of the longest-running animated sitcoms in history. The show gained recognition for its satirical humor based on politics, family, and pop culture.
‘The Simpsons’ Predicted The Emergence Of Threads
Threads has witnessed a rise in the number of users and the new social media platform is being criticized at the same time for different reasons. It was launched by Meta and it is considered a big competition for Twitter, owned by Elon Musk.
Meanwhile, a Twitter handle under the username, @/EverythingOOC posted a picture featuring Homer Simpson near the logo of Threads. The tweet highlighted Homer’s earlobe which seemed similar to the app logo. The caption stated, “The Simpsons did it again.”
The comments section of the tweet was flooded with a mixed response from the public, with a majority of them being funny. However, people have also stated that the picture was edited by someone.

The Design Of Threads Is Similar To Twitter
It has been mentioned earlier that Threads has been designed as a competition for Twitter. But it also looks similar to Twitter. The features are also the same as people can participate in public conversations and get the latest updates,
There are options to write text posts, share pictures and videos, alongside like, comment, repost, and share. The platform has also become popular following a few restrictions that have been imposed by Musk on Twitter.
The latest change that came on Twitter is that there was a limit to the number of tweets that could be read every day. It aimed to avoid data scraping and manipulation of the site’s systems.
