During the Vulture’s “Into It” podcast, Ana’s ‘Deep Water‘ co-star Lil Rel Howery criticized her for getting an oscar nomination in the Best Actress category. “Somebody else should have got bumped,” Howery said.
He added, “I’m not going to say anything, but it’s a movie nominated as a Razzie. [It] doesn’t make sense to me.” Howery also said that black actresses like Viola Davis and Danielle Deadwyler should have been nominated.
