The return of Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano drew a star-studded crowd to the Intuit Dome on Saturday night as Netflix presented its first live MMA event in the form of MVP MMA 1. Several celebrities were spotlighted throughout the broadcast while attending the highly anticipated comeback fight between two of women’s MMA’s biggest pioneers.
Acclaimed filmmaker James Cameron was among the most recognizable faces in attendance, appearing cageside during the main card. Carmen Electra also attended the event and was shown during the broadcast alongside Tommy Lee. Cameras later caught Diplo in the crowd as fans continued pouring into the arena ahead of the main event.
Professional wrestling star CM Punk was also in attendance. The former WWE champion, who previously competed in the UFC, became one of the most talked-about celebrity guests featured during the stream. The celebrity-filled audience also included former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, Puka Nacua, Jared Verse, and MMA legend Cris Cyborg.

Ronda Rousey closed the event with a dominant performance, submitting Gina Carano just 17 seconds into the opening round. The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion immediately rushed forward after the opening bell, secured a takedown, and finished the fight with her trademark armbar submission.
She later said during the post-fight interview, “There’s no way I could’ve ended it better than this. I want to have some more babies and I’ve got to get cooking.”
The victory improved Rousey’s professional MMA record to 13-2 while marking the 10th armbar finish of her career. The 39-year-old later confirmed the bout would be the final fight of her MMA career.
