Jennifer Aniston is easily one of the most popular cast members of the popular sitcom ‘Friends.’ The character Rachel Green and her haircut were immensely popular among the masses.

However, over the years, certain things about the show have been called out. During the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Murder Mystery 2′, Aniston talked about it in an interview with AFP.

There’s a whole generation of people, kids, who are now going back to episodes of ‘Friends’ and find them offensive,” Aniston said. “There were things that were never intentional and others … well, we should have thought it through — but I don’t think there was a sensitivity like there is now.”

Since there is much more awareness now of several issues, people quickly point out anything problematic in a film or a series. But Aniston still believes that the world needs humor.

Everybody needs funny,” she said. “The world needs humor! We can’t take ourselves too seriously — especially in the United States. Everyone is far too divided.”

When it comes to ‘Friends‘, the lack of any actor of color in the lead has been widely criticized. The show’s creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane have said that they would do things differently if they made the show today.
