At this year’s Met Gala, Kim Kardashian wore a custom-made Schiaparelli nude dress. The bodysuit was designed by Daniel Roseberry and was accompanied by a top and skirt made of over 50,000 pearls.
The SKIMS founder also had long sleeves along with pearl earrings, a silver choker, and ivory heels. On the red carpet, Kim talked about the inspiration behind her outfit. “I wanted to feel glamorous,” she said.
She further said, “I wanted pearls. What is more Karl? The iconic Chanel pearls is what I always thought of. We wanted to be dripping in pearls.” Kim also said that her daughter North West, who was accompanying her at the event, “was putting them all in her purse.”
