King Charles III acceded to the British throne after the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II. At the age of 73, he is the oldest person to assume the British throne. He and the entire Royal family’s behavior toward Meghan Markle isn’t hidden anymore.
It’s mainly because Markle is a mixed-race woman and does not belong to any Royal family. Now Christina Oxenberg, who is King Charles’ cousin, has come out in her support and has slammed her treatment by the Royals. Let’s find out more about what she said about Meghan.

King Charles’ Cousin Speaks Out For Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle has faced discrimination from the Royal family since she started dating and eventually married Prince Harry. The two stepped down from the Royal life in 2020 and relocated to California.
Christina Oxenberg is a descendant of Serbian royalty and counts King Charles III as a third cousin. She recently spoke out about the Dutches of Sussex. In an interview with The Post, Christina talked about Royal’s long history of hazing new members, especially women.
“To Meghan Markle, I say, ‘What you are going through is a hellish kind of hazing,’” she said. “If she can just hang in there, someone else will come along who can take the heat. Nobody gets a pass.”
Christina is a writer and fashion designer; her elder sister of actress Catherine Oxenberg. Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia is her mother.

Kate Middleton Has Also Faced Heat From The Royals
Talking about Kate Middleton, Christina said that she also received snobbish behavior from the Royals. “When Prince William, now the heir to the throne, was dating Middleton before their 2011 marriage, the royal family thought it pretty funny that the British press labeled her “Kate Middle Class,” she said.
Oxenberg continued, “They thought it was all very funny, Kate Middle Class and Sarah Ferguson and Koo Stark. They meant no disrespect; after all, she is the future queen of England.”
The relationship between Stark and Prince Andrew was put to an end by the late Queen. “They were both really in love,” she added. “They were soul mates, and he was prevented from marrying his soul mate. Had he married her, things would be different today.”
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle stepped down from their Royal duties in 2020 and shifted to the US. They also gave a tell-all interview to Oprah Winfrey last year.
