Kim Kardashian Worked At A Clothing Store
Kim Kardashian opened up about her financial and early life quite a few years back. Talking to Wealthsimple in 2018, Kardashian talked about her first job ever. She said, “I got a job when I was 16. It was at a clothing store. I had crashed my car, and before I got another car, my dad made me sign a contract that if I hit the car, I was responsible for taking care of it. I had no money, so I had to go get a job, pay for it.”
Kim worked at Body, which was a clothing store in California. Kim also said that the store was very similar to DASH, the now-closed boutique she had with her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney. She also described what it was like working there, explaining, “It was right in Encino, and I used to spend every paycheck there if I didn’t have to take care of things. I loved it. I worked there for four years and helped them open up a store in Calabasas.”
Kardashian Also Had Other Spare Jobs
Apart from working in the clothing store, she also worked in her father’s office. His father, Robert Kardashian, was a lawyer, who became famous when he worked as the defense lawyer of his friend, O.J. Simpson, who was charged with murder. Another of her jobs also included selling things on eBay.
Kim says that her parents have always stressed and emphasized the importance of hard work and being responsible for one’s own money. Kim still follows the advice of her parents to this day.
