Christina Applegate Walked Barefoot At The Walk Of Fame Ceremony
While most celebrities prefer to walk on the Hollywood walk of fame floor with their feet covered, the ‘Dead to Me‘ actress opted for comfort as she was seen barefoot at the event.
This is because of her battle with multiple sclerosis which she was diagnosed with last year. The actress took to Twitter to clarify that.

In early 2021, Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a debilitating disease. She first opened up about it publicly in August of that year. “It’s been a strange journey,” she tweeted at the time. “But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition.”

Applegate Says ‘Dead To Me’ Could Be Her Last Acting Gig
Ever since she was diagnosed with MS, Applegate’s life has never been the same. She gained 40 pounds because of it and has trouble walking without a stick.
The actress has said that ‘Dead to Me‘ could be her last acting job because of her stressful battle with multiple sclerosis. “Jen Harding is the one, who — who knows, quite possibly the last one I’ll play,” she said.
“With my disease, I don’t know how capable I am. But this was a gift. This was a gift to me.” she added. Applegate talked about the difficulty she faced while filming.
“It had to be cold, because heat is our kryptonite,” she said. “Can’t work those 18-hour days, you know? It was impossible. Netflix even let us take a break for a couple of months so that I could mourn, and find treatment.”
