Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Replaced The Docu’s Director
A Netflix documentary series chronicling the life of Harry and Meghan has been in production lately. It has been slated to release later this year.
According to Page Six, the couple had initially hired Garrett Bradley, the director of the critically acclaimed Netflix series ‘Naomi Osaka‘, for their project.
The report states that both Sussex and Bradley were not able to agree on the tone of the docu-series. “Garrett wanted Harry and Meghan to film at home and they were not comfortable doing that“, an insider said.
“There were a few sticky moments between them, and Garrett left the project. Harry and Meghan’s own production company captured as much footage as they could before Liz Garbus was hired,” it concluded.

Did They Contradict Their Own Stories?
The docuseries, which is slated to release in December on Netflix, might have some contradictions. What Harry and Meghan said in the docu was quite different from what Harry wrote in his upcoming memoir.
A source said: “A lot in the show contradicted what Harry has written, so that was an issue.” They added, “Then Harry and Meghan made significant requests [to filmmakers] to walk back content they themselves have provided, for their own project”.
The couple wanted to halt the release of their Netflix show until next year but the streamer has decided to release it after the fifth season of ‘The Crown‘ in December.
The docuseries chronicles the couple’s experience with the royal family. They have also touched upon Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
