David Harbour Shares His Thoughts On Robert Downey Jr’s Return To MCU
During a recent conversation with Variety, David Harbour was asked about Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom, when he opened up about his excitement over the prospect. “Iron Man was so heroic, and now to anchor him in this, perhaps, villainous world, it makes our heroes different. I think that’s an exciting place for ‘The Thunderbolts,'” he said.
Sebastian Stan was also surprised and taken aback by the news but expressed confidence in Robert Downey Jr’s talents. When asked the same thing as Harbour, he said “There’s absolutely nothing that [he] can’t do.”
While taking on the iconic Doctor Doom is no easy task, Stan has faith that Downey will do the character complete justice given his previous MCU track record.When asked about how this affects their ‘Thunderbolts’ film, Stan replied “It feels like something’s right in the world again to have RDJ back in the MCU“.
Both actors are clearly ecstatic to have Downey back, even in a negative shade, and are looking forward to see what his Doctor Doom will bring to the ever-evolving Marvel universe.

Marvel Is Working On Several Great Future Projects
