‘Agatha All Along’ Reportedly Cut A Post-Credit Scene Featuring Rio Vidal AKA Lady Death Following Agatha And Billy Maximoff

Agatha All Along’ concluded with a satisfying ending. But many fans were left wondering why the series didn’t include a post-credits scene. A common practice in the MCU, these extra scenes often tease future storylines or introduce new characters.

Previously, the creator of the show revealed that she had written post-credit scenes for ‘Agatha All Along‘. However, due to some unknown reason, Marvel decided not to use her ideas.

While the reason for this decision remains unclear, it’s possible that Marvel wanted to avoid setting up future storylines that might not be immediately explored. Additionally, despite the lack of an official post-credits scene, Marvel insider MyTimeToShine has shared details about a scrapped scene that would have offered a glimpse into the future of the series.

According to the insider, the second post-credits scene would have shown Aubrey Plaza’s Rio, aka Lady Death, following Ghost Agatha and Billy into the portal. This deleted scene could have opened up exciting possibilities for future storylines. It could’ve hinted at a second season or much more.

Marvel’s decision not to add any post-credit scenes could be attributed to various factors. The studio might have wanted to maintain a clear focus on the current storyline.

Post-credit scenes often set up a future storyline or tease something upcoming. This sometimes leads to them not being able to fulfill their promises. So, with ‘Agatha All Along‘ they might’ve wanted to avoid setting up future plot points that may not be immediately addressed.

Additionally, the uncertain future of certain characters, such as Wanda Maximoff, may have influenced the decision to limit any direct connections to the broader MCU. However, with the show’s ending setting up future storylines for the characters, fans can speculate about the return of the characters in a second season.
