Chris Evans To Allegedly Return As Human Torch From ‘The Fantastic 4’ In MCU’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

With the second trailer for Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine releasing the rumors and theories speculating around the movie are only rising. More than the ‘multiverse of madness’ it feels like the multiverse of rumors and fan theories.

However, despite the theories and constant spoilers in the headlines, it is only increasing the anticipation regarding the upcoming film. Additionally, the new rumors suggest B-15, Gambit, X23, and Chris Evans as Johnny Storm are in ‘Deadpool 3’.

While Chris Evans is known by the Marvel audience for his iconic portrayal of Captain America, fans might be in for a surprise. Previously, a lot of rumors regarding Evans’ return to the MCU were circulating the web. In 2023 it was speculated that Marvel was bringing back the original Avengers.

However, there hasn’t been any news about it since. Additionally, while Evans is recognized for his role as Captain America it wasn’t his first foray into superhero roles. He first appeared as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch in the ‘Fantastic Four’ movies.

Chris himself in an interview with MTV claimed that returning as him would be easier than returning as captain. With ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ having so many X-Men characters it wouldn’t be surprising that Evans returns as Johnny Storm.

The Human Torch is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Written by Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, he first appeared in ‘The Fantastic Four’ 1 in 1961. Additionally, the Human Torch’s real name is Johnny Storm. As the Human Torch, Johnny can engulf his entire body in flames without harm and fly at superhuman speeds.

He can also generate intense heat and fire blasts, making him a formidable force in battle. Although Evans later gained even more acclaim for his portrayal of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his portrayal of the Human Torch remains a memorable part of his superhero legacy. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if he returns to the MCU as Johnny.
