Vincent D’Onofrio first appeared as the Marvel villain Kingpin in Netflix’s ‘Daredevil‘ and later reprised the role in ‘Echo’ starring Alaqua Cox. ‘Echo’ set up D’Onofrio’s Kingpin for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’. However, this seems to just be the beginning of Kingpin’s wrath.
As much as the fans are excited to witness more of Kingpin, they are looking forward to Marvel’s much-anticipated project ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ which takes place in Phase Six scheduled to be released on May 7, 2027.

Vincent D’Onofrio Expresses Interest In Being A Part Of ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’
During a recent conversation in an episode of ComicBook.com‘s Creators on Creators, Vincent D’Onofrio expressed his interest in seeing his Marvel character everywhere possible. The actor said, “I don’t see why he has to just be in one situation. Part of the storytelling in Echo is that his reach has gotten further. He’s gone from just controlling Hell’s Kitchen and certain stuff coming in from the ports of Manhattan, and the veins of his business are running wider across the country and I think eventually across the world.”
D’Onofrio also added that he expects his character to be all over the place, especially with Kingpin and Vanessa, Wilson Fisk’s wife being all-powerful. He also added, “I love the fact that Marvel Studios executive Brad Winderbaum compared Kingpin to Thanos by the way, because I didn’t know that he said that until you told me and that means that there’s lots of jobs to come. That’s a good thing.”
